A booking deposit is required in order to secure dates. The balance of rental to be settled one month prior of arrival to the Castle. In the event of same not being paid, the deposit will be forfeited.
The booking deposit is non refundable.
We require a Breakages & Protection deposit of €500.00 to be paid one month prior to arrival. This deposit will be refunded within 2 weeks of check out of the castle, pending inspection.
Check in times are confirmed on booking. Check out time is 12 noon. A fee of €100 per hour will be charged on the event of late check out.
In the event of cancelling a confirmed booking, the following charges will be due (deposits already paid will also be forfeited). In each case, the percentage charge applies to the total amount for the agreed castle hire: Within 8 weeks = 100% 16-8 weeks = 75% 36 - 16 weeks = 50%
The castle reserves the right to cancel or refund deposits in circumstances when a booking is made through a third party or under false pretences.
Rental Party must accept full and total responsibility for all losses or damage that may occur during the period of the rental either to the Castle or the Castle grounds or to the furniture, effects or fittings therein. The Castle and grounds will be left in the same condition as they were prior to occupation.
Rental Party must agree to keep the interior of the premises, including furniture, glass and windows, all locks, electricity and other fittings and installations and all additions in good order and condition and to pay for any damage done to any fittings.
Rental Party must agree to take all steps to prevent any nuisance or disturbance being caused to the Castle and the neighbours and that the parties therein will behave themselves properly in a proper and fitting manner. Fireworks are not allowed.
During the period of the rental, no persons are to be allowed up the spiral stone stairs of the old Castle under the influence of alcohol.
Children at the castle are at your own risk. The castle is by no means child proof which means the responsibility is solely on the rental party to ensure children are chaperoned at all times.
Alcohol cannot be sold in the premises on any occasion unless the proper license to sell alcohol is produced.
Keys will not be given to anyone belonging to the party prior to the agreed rental period.
